If someone can get his PhD through going to multiple secular schools and knows how to defend his beliefs “in spite” of that, you can give him the benefit of the doubt that he’s not ignoring facts but seeing them from a different point of view. He can publish facts which can be accepted by both creationists and evolutionists (even if people disagree with his conclusions).
